Junior Caps Entry Draft Picks

Tonight, at the St. John’s Junior Hockey League draft the Junior Caps selected 2 players to round out its 2020-21 Roster. Due to COVID-19, there was no Entry Draft in 2020, so that meant there would be two entry drafts this year. In the 2020 Entry Draft, with the Junior Caps 1st pick (6th overall), Forward Cole Hurley from Badger, NL was selected. Cole last played with the AAA Major Midget Central Impact. Junior Caps passed on remaining picks in this draft.

In the 2021 Entry Draft, the Junior Caps traded its 2022 1st round pick with Paradise Junior Warriors for their pick (1st overall) in the 2021 Entry Draft. With this pick the Junior Caps selected Forward Shaemus Best from Burin Bay Arm, NL. Shaemus’s last team was the AAA Major Midget Tri Pen Osprey.

Welcome to the Junior Caps!
